Everything Counts In Large Amounts
At this week's Feelharmonic weekly event at Dish, your donations of canned goods, clothing, and other essential items are being accepted to help out local relief efforts for survivors of Hurricane Katrina that are in the Memphis/Midsouth area. Please come and bring useable items that maybe you're not using? Hope to see you there.
these are the things that are needed:
food (perishable and non-perishable)
blankets
bottled water
towels
sleeping bags
personal hygiene products
cots
also, clothing, all sizes, esp. childrens
small "quiet toys" and childrens books
cleaning supplies and tools
Bring these items to Dish Tonight
We will deliver them to Red Cross/shelters.
If you cant make it tonight, here are a list of other
locations to drop stuff off:
-Any Malco Theater
-kroger 3444 poplar (highland) WED and THURS only
-American Red Cross 1400 central ave
-New Direction Christian Church 6120 Wincester
-Walmart G'town and Trinity (maybe more of these, just call)
-El Porton Restaurants

Red Cross: has no static donation centers in memphis,
but there are blood banks over at UofM in front of the
Holiday Inn and further within campus.
